“Moving Geometric Shapes” captures the dynamic interplay of form and color through the careful arrangement of minimalist shapes set against a light blue background. The artwork features intersecting circles, semi-circles, and rectangles in a bold palette of electric blue, vibrant red, and soft turquoise, creating a sense of movement and visual harmony. The top half of the composition is dominated by a dark gray rectangle and a deep blue semi-circle, while the lower half contrasts with a bright red semi-circle that overlaps a pale turquoise ellipse. The juxtaposition of these geometric forms, combined with the vivid color choices, evokes themes of motion, energy, and the relationship between structure and fluidity. The overall effect is one of perpetual motion, as if the shapes are suspended in a dance, shifting and transforming before the viewer’s eyes. This piece speaks to the power of simplicity and abstraction, offering a visual exploration of balance, rhythm, and the tension between mathematical precision and artistic freedom.
