I've always been fascinated by places that feel just slightly off. A flickering light in a stairwell. An abandoned noticeboard with one pin still hanging. That's where my characters appear-ordinary people who stumble into extraordinary fractures and are forced to decide what they'll hold onto, and what they'll let go.
