This piece, inspired by the iconic “Pale Blue Dot” photograph taken by Apollo 11 astronauts, transcends traditional concepts of spirituality and reverence. “Sanctus” captures Earth’s serene glow against the infinite darkness of space, evoking a sense of sacredness that goes beyond faith or belief. The faint blue light rising above the dark horizon symbolizes hope, fragility, and the passage of time—reminding us that our moments are fleeting, yet profound. Radiating lines and ethereal particles lend a celestial and almost surreal quality to the piece, inviting contemplation on the fragility of existence and the sacred nature of our planet in the vast cosmic arena.
